Production Supervisor - Night ShiftFlorence, KYOverviewThe position is responsible for actively managing the performance of people and processes in a manufacturing setting. Key performance areas include safety, quality, overall equipment effectiveness, and operator productivity. The plant operates 24/7, on 12 hour shifts.

To effectively coordinate and supervise production activities on the assigned shift, utilizing equipment, materials, people and support services, so that the plant meets budgeted objectives in a safe and efficient manner, while achieving customer's quality expectations.Essential Functions & Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision of Adjuster/SupervisorsMonitor and maintain shift production staffing levelsEnforce all safety procedures and policies on the shiftFollow GMP in compliance with all food safety requirementsAnalyze downtime and determine corrective actionAble to identify root cause of equipment or process failure using deductive reasoning and experienceProvide direction to shift training needs and schedule training sessions to fill those needsMonitor the quality of the product being produced and shippedEnsure all production reporting is complete and accurateMonitor production schedule and use available employee equipment resources in the best way to meet that scheduleParticipate in plant projects, teams and committeesExperience in leading people and teams in a manufacturing setting are requiredLEAN manufacturing backgroundExceptional problem solver with a strong drive for continuous improvementMetrics/performance oriented leader with strong communication skillsKey attributes of the successful candidate include self-starter, organized, technical aptitude, great leadership skills, ability to learn quickly, team-player, and the desire to progress within manufacturing leadership positionsQualificationsHigh School Diploma/Associates Degree (Bachelor's Degree a plus)5+ years of Supervisory Experience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentStrong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, ERP, Outlook, etc)CompensationA reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,000 - $80,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
