Production SupervisorOur Production Supervisor will work closely with Plant Leadership and be responsible for leading and managing manufacturing employees in alignment with company directives, policies, and procedures. This role ensures production goals are met with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage manufacturing employees in accordance with company policies and directivesAssist with hiring, onboarding, and training; assign tasks and monitor performanceCommunicate job expectations and provide coaching, counseling, and performance appraisalsReview production orders and schedules to plan department operationsMonitor production timelines to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer productsEvaluate and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and qualityEnsure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, environmental, etc.)Facilitate training for new and existing employees on safety, quality, and productivity standardsCollaborate with manufacturing engineering to recommend capital improvements for safety and efficiencyEnforce safety protocols, work rules, and housekeeping standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred (commensurate experience considered)Experience with manufacturing systems; Epicor experience a plusAbility to read and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, technical procedures, and regulationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsProven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teamsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical instructionsSo, what do you get out of working at Leer, Inc. beyond a friendly work environment and the best teammates around?
