You will review plans, blueprints, work instructions, and other technical documents; answer questions regarding project scope and timing; monitor costs and project progress; develop schedules and estimates; and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.Working closely with Operations, Sales, Service, Transportation, and other support teams, you will coordinate resources, logistics, inventory, and customer needs while driving operational excellence, employee development, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.You will supervise construction and maintenance production activities while ensuring quality, safety, code compliance, inventory accuracy, vendor performance, and team productivity. Working directly alongside production teams, you will establish priorities, coordinate resources, remove obstacles, and drive results while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.What You'll DoDeliver quality modular construction projects on time and on budget.Provide hands on leadership by working directly alongside production teams to establish priorities, assign work, monitor progress, and ensure quality standards are met. Ensure production operates within applicable standards, regulations, and building codes.Deliver hands on leadership for the administrative and inventory support functions that impact production operations, including inventory and project coordination, internal and external customer service, purchase orders, logistics coordination, and operational support activities.Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Service, Transportation, and other support teams to coordinate resources, inventory, scheduling, logistics, customer needs, and project execution while ensuring a seamless customer experience.Maintain the vendor base and establish new supplier relationships; negotiate pricing and service agreements while implementing policies and procedures that strengthen vendor partnerships and ensure exceptional service for our customers.Cultivate strong relationships with manufacturers, subcontractors, and key vendors to ensure accurate inventory management, efficient transportation, successful installations, and responsive service delivery in the marketplace.Manage multiple construction groups working on modular building repair, refurbishment, modification, and maintenance projects. Maximize efficiency by streamlining workflows, reducing costs, implementing best practices, and supporting LEAN initiatives.Lead 6S efforts by ensuring teams maintain organized workspaces, tools, equipment, and materials. Order materials and manage inventory to support project schedules and operational needs.Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and overall performance. Develop and implement initiatives that foster both personal and professional growth, creating opportunities for career development, cross-training, succession planning, and continuous learning.Lead employee engagement and team-building efforts that strengthen communication, collaboration, accountability, and retention across the team.Create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute ideas that improve operational performance, customer satisfaction, and workplace culture.Develop, deliver, and support performance reviews, coaching, counseling, and employee development conversationsMonitor team performance to ensure productivity, quality, and safety expectations are consistently achieved. Actively participate in safety meetings, training, audits, and toolbox talks while promoting OSHA and industry best practices.Ensures production operates within established standards, regulations and codes related to the operation of the manufacturing facility (including Department of Education, Division of State Architect, Department of Housing and Community Development, and Federal, State, County and Local requirements).Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers and departments across the organization to support a cohesive team environment and exceptional customer service.Perform other duties as assignedMust Haves3+ years of hands on experience in construction, remodeling, renovation, repairs, or building modifications. Knowledge of construction trades including carpentry, electrical and plumbing.3+ years of supervisory, management, or team leadership experience in a construction, production, or related environment. Project management experience overseeing multiple projects and priorities.Experience reading blueprints, schematics, work orders, work instructions, floor plans, and construction documents.Experience implementing LEAN methodologies, process improvements, or efficiency initiatives.Ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members. Demonstrated ability to coach and counsel other workers in a positive manner.Track record of improving safety and safety proceduresExcellent abilities to prioritize and adjust schedules and instill a sense of urgency in team members while managing multiple projects.High-energy, can-do, get-results person with high integrity.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, Outlook and Teams.Valid Driver's License.Nice to HavesExperience overseeing teams of 4 or more employees.Working knowledge of HVAC strongly preferredForklift experience, particularly in industrial warehouse environments with use of large industrial equipment.Experience working with vendor relationships, subcontractors, inventory management, logistics, or branch operations.Understanding of trucking operations, transportation, DOT requirements, pilot car operations, and Oregon hauling requirements.Knowledge of current building codes, ADA requirements, and quality compliance standards.
