Production Supervisor

Production SupervisorAccelerate Professional Talent Solutions has a great opportunity available for a Production Supervisor at a company in West Allis, WI. This is a direct hire position.Production Supervisor Responsibilities:Work with the Production Manager by providing oversight, support, and guidance to direct labor team membersOversee the training of direct labor team members through compliance with established work instructions given by Production Coordinators and Team LeadsEnsure safety policies and procedures are always followed. Ensure work environment meets safety and Lean standards.

Work with team members to ensure good housekeeping practicesWork with engineering and team members to develop safe, efficient, and accessible work processesUnderstand ISO policies and quality standards. Work with engineering and quality teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production problemsMinimize waste and cost to the production lineEnsure all team members understand and follow the work instructionsRun analysis on the following areas of production to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reportingEnsure accurate entry of information into ERP including work orders and labor hoursIn collaboration with the Procurement Team, ensure the timely order of materials needed to run production. Ensure inventory of raw materials is available to meet customer deadlinesTrack multistep processes using MS Office Suite and our ERP systemGenerate ideas for continuous improvements to processes, accessibility, and safety.

Implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee moraleReview team member timecards for accuracy before approvalRequirements for Production Supervisor:2 year or 4-year degree preferred3-5 years previous experience in a manufacturing environmentNetsuite or Oracle experience highly desiredProficient computer skills using Outlook, Excel, and ERP systemForklift experience/certification will be required.
