Production Supervisor, MachiningFS-Elliott is seeking an experienced Machining Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Export, PA. This position is responsible for supervising machining personnel, organizing and monitoring workflow, and supporting employees to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, machining expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset to help drive productivity, quality, and team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily machining operations and production staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentCommunicate job expectations while planning, monitoring, and evaluating employee performanceCoach, counsel, and support employees while enforcing company policies and proceduresSchedule and assign personnel to meet production goals and customer requirementsMonitor workflow, adjust schedules as needed, and resolve production issues efficientlyMaintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity throughout machining operationsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap and reworkAnalyze machining processes and recommend operational improvements and best practicesLead troubleshooting and problem resolution efforts in high-pressure situationsMonitor production metrics and provide shift production updates and reportingFoster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on collaboration and customer serviceAssist in developing departmental goals, policies, and operational objectivesSkills, Knowledge and Expertise3–5 years of experience in a machining leadership, supervisory, or similar manufacturing roleStrong knowledge of machining practices, production processes, and troubleshooting techniquesProven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with process improvement and production planningAbility to work effectively with employees across all levels of the organizationProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong commitment to quality, safety, and customer service excellenceAbout FS-ElliottFS-Elliott is a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing of oil-free, centrifugal compressors with operations in over 90 countries.
