As a Production Supervisor at U.S. Pipe and Foundry, a successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing operations and workforce to meet daily manufacturing goals while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality operation.Key Responsibilities as a Production Supervisor will include:Leadership: Under the direction of the Production Manager, lead and direct the work of hourly production employees to achieve daily production targets while maintaining a high level of safety and quality.Production Oversight: Manage daily operations, monitor workflows, problem-solve, and implement process improvements to meet production standards and targets.Mechanical Operations: Provide support and hands on maintenance of mechanical equipment/tooling in partnership with maintenance supervisors to optimize equipment and processes. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with repairs to ensure smooth production.Safety and Compliance: Champion safety programs, conduct safety audits and reinforce a culture of workplace safety and accountability ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.Collaboration: Work closely with operations/plant leadership to meet key performance indicators (KPIs), continuous improvement initiatives, safety, and quality standards.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years previous supervisory or management experience in a heavy fast paced manufacturing and/or construction environment is required.

Experience in ductile iron products a plus, foundry experience highly preferred.High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical) or Manufacturing and/or related field desired.Ability to lead and direct workforce, to achieve a technically competent and highly motivated workforce, ensuring all necessary training and development to promote skill development, quality, safety, and compliance are met.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience is a plus.Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)U.S. Pipe is an equal opportunity employer committed to developing a workforce with well-qualified individuals without regard to their race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender, disability, veteran status or other protected characteristics.
