Production Supervisor

Working At Freudenberg: We Will Wow Your World!Responsibilities:Lead Safe Operations - Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company HSE standards, OSHA requirements, and site safety programs while supporting audits, inspections, risk assessments, and employee training.Supervise and Develop Teams - Provide day-to-day leadership for production employees, assign work, coach and mentor team members, support onboarding, and help build a high-performing, engaged workforce.Deliver Production Results - Coordinate production activities to meet customer demand, production schedules, quality expectations, and operational targets while maintaining efficiency and accountability.Manage Manufacturing System - Support manufacturing excellence through recipe management (Siemens), process documentation, batch analysis, SAP transactions, and maintenance of standardized work practices.Ensure Quality and Compliance - Maintain compliance with ISO/ GMS standards, SOPs, documentation requirements, and audit expectations while supporting investigations, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvement efforts.Drive Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost through Lean principles, 5S initiatives, root-cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.Support Site Leadership - Serve as a key operational leader by supporting cross-functional initiatives, product transfer projects, maintenance programs, and acting as backup to production leadership when neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with production planning and manufacturing processesKnowledge of SAP or other ERP systemsUnderstanding of OSHA and workplace safety requirementsExperience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six SigmaMechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environmentThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
