Production SupervisorWe are looking for a Production Supervisor for our Lenoir facility. This position is responsible for assuring all procedures are followed in achieving the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while still maintaining the specification of the customer. Candidates will not be considered without a resume.Responsibilities:Provide guidance and direction to the production floor personnelAccomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; initiating, coordination and enforcing systems, policies, and proceduresDevelop and maintain training programs in conjunction with the HR/Safety department to ensure all the personnel have the necessary skills to perform their duties safely and productivelyCoordinate daily production floor activities and delegate assignments to production personnelCommunicate clear expectations to production personnel, keep them informed of matters pertaining to their job and develop personnel growth opportunitiesMonitor employee work performance relative to expectation and maintain product workflow through the facilityEnsure material handlers supply the workstations with material quickly and efficientlyMonitor and enforce safety practices and policiesMaintain a safe and clean work environment at all times by educating and directing personnelEnsure equipment and tools are in good working order and available for use when required.Ensure all stations are producing product to the company's quality standardsContinuously evaluate and modify plant workflow for increased throughput and productivityMonitor and enforce work start, break and stop times of the production floor personnelMonitor tidiness of the workstations and machinesCoordinate cleanups where necessary fill out maintenance requests as necessaryAttend and participate in regular production meetingsWork in a fast-paced environment with fast changing prioritiesLead the production floor personnel and maintain a positive work atmosphereAssist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environmentPosition reports to and works closely with Production SuperintendentUphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities aboveBalance Quality, Productivity, Cost, Safety and Morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
