SupervisorSpecialty: Production SupervisorPosition Title: SupervisorArea/Specialty: ProductionLocation: ADVICS Manufacturing GeorgiaDepartment: ProductionReports To: Production ManagerFLSA Category: Hourly Salaried - ExemptDirect Reports: YesPosition Summary: Facilitate the manufacture of high quality brake pads in a safe and efficient manner; keeping in mind the needs of the company, our customers, our employees, and our community.Position Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure a safe work environment and safe work activity of all SAFA employees as well as contract employees.Ensure an environmentally safe plant for our employees and the community.Quality pads produced.Quality and process improvements in the manufacturing area.Production level and production efficiency.Training of manufacturing employees.Reporting of scrap.Upkeep of machinery, equipment, and the manufacturing facility.Coordinate cleaning activity in respective areas.Assist Lead Operators in trouble shooting and production matters.Assist Managers and Engineers in trials and production matters.Evaluate maintenance priority and needs during shift and communicate to maintenance.Complete Supervisor Patrol.Notify Management immediately on issues that arise, employee issues, scrap issues, production issues.Daily communication.Knowledge/Experience/Skills:Associate degree or higher in business or leadership (Preferred).
