People like you!Job Summary: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor oversees and coordinates all aspects of safety, quality, production, and personnel on the assigned shift. This role ensures production targets and deadlines are met safely while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The Production Supervisor provides leadership, coaching, and support to the shift team and drives continuous improvement across production processes.Benefits:Health Insurance (includes teledoc, virtual health, FSA, HCSA & other benefits)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceHealth Spending AccountEmployee Support and Mental WellnessShort term disability401k MatchPaid vacationFloating daysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement EventsAwards and RecognitionTuition ReimbursementService AwardsEmployee Perks & DiscountsJob Responsibilities:Ensure employees perform work safely and efficiently in compliance with regulatory and company policiesSupervise and support assigned shift personnel to meet production and quality standardsPlan and manage shift scheduling for the production teamProvide manufacturing leadership, including employee discipline and performance managementApply lean tools and techniques to improve existing processes and maintain departmental documentationIdentify training needs, coach employees, and support individual development plansConduct training, cross-training, and rotation of employees across rolesEnsure employee training on procedures related to safety, production, and qualityEnsure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations and conduct safety inspectionsLead weekly crew meetings to communicate safety, quality, and production updatesEvaluate team member performance and support skill developmentRecommend and implement measures to improve production methods and equipment performanceOperate within SOPs and Quality proceduresIdentify and resolve production issues and assist in addressing quality concernsInvestigate and report safety near-misses, accidents, and hazard identificationsMaintain a clean and safe working environmentCollaborate with other production supervisors to ensure operational consistencyPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualificationsPost-secondary degree or diploma in industrial technology, engineering, business administration, or management preferredMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentSupervisory experience in high-speed, continuous process manufacturing is an assetExperience with continuous improvement tools such as TQM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six SigmaStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and leadership skills for managing diverse teamsStrong written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsProven track record of operational improvements through employee engagement and team buildingExcellent time management, planning, and organizational skillsProficient in MS OfficeKnowledge of Workday time and attendance system is an assetThis is a safety sensitive position.Benefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
