Production Supervisor (Finishing) - Weekend Day Shift

Production Shift SupervisorAs the Production Shift Supervisor, you will oversee all shift operations including pre production, post-production, quality control, and shipping. You will also ensure consistent communication with departmental shift leads and staff throughout the shift.SendCutSend is an on-demand manufacturing company specializing in custom sheet metal and CNC machining. If you're excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoOversee all production operations during your assigned shift, including production, post-production, quality control, and shippingPrioritize and organize daily production, provide guidance to staff, and address bottlenecks by redistributing labor to ensure timelines are met and orders are completed on time.Ensure all departments produce and ship parts that meet company quality guidelines while maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe operation.Support training, coaching, and development of staff members.Maintain smooth shift transitions by conducting regular shift huddles to ensure clear and consistent communication with staff.Communicate with Customer Support and Preflight teams regarding problematic orders and offer solutions to resolve issues.Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production floorPerform end of shift duties as directed by the Operations Director.Address personnel concerns and administer corrective action when necessary in partnership with leadershipComplete any additional tasks as set forth by the Operations Director.Perform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environmentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountableExcellent time management and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesClear and effective communication skills with all levels of managementAbility to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentExperience handling personnel issues and administering corrective actionPreferred QualificationsExperience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC manufacturingExperience leading multi-department production teamsFamiliarity with production tracking systems or workflow management toolsExperience driving process improvements or efficiency initiativesEssential Physical RequirementsAbility to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shiftsAbility to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing and production floor environmentWork performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipmentExposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all timesBenefitsHealth, Vision & Dental Insurance401(k) match up to 4%Paid time off6 Company-Paid HolidaysTuition ReimbursementPaid Parental LeaveShort-Term DisabilityLunch Provided DailySafety Shoe VoucherEmployee Discounts!ScheduleFriday-Sunday, 5:00AM-5:00PMThis role is accepting applications until Tuesday, September 29th at 11:59pm PST
