Production Supervisor

Production SupervisorWe are hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee and manage employees while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and quantity standards. The Production Supervisor is expected to learn and gain understanding of the skill, equipment, parts, and time required for manufactured products, in addition to warehouse best practices. The Production Supervisor will have knowledge and skill required for each process, will oversee assembly processes, safety procedures, facility maintenance, inventory management, and warehouse functions, as well as other responsibilities related to managing both production and warehouse goods.They lead team members on the production and warehouse floors, ensuring all performance, safety, and reliability standards are met.

They monitor and direct the workflow on the production floor, ensuring that machinery operates smoothly and production targets are met. They plan and assign work, coordinate resources, and adjust schedules to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines. They will join our dynamic team and lead various aspects of production and warehouse operations.Supervisory Responsibilities:Train, manage and support production and warehouse employeesOversee the daily workflow and assignments of production and warehouse employeesDuties/Responsibilities:Oversee production operationsPrepare work schedules to ensure efficient operationsMaintains knowledge of processes and equipmentEnsure that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctlyTroubleshoot issues that ariseNotify management of equipment problemsEnsures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and proceduresEnsure all required paperwork is completed and distributedPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Thorough understanding of and/or the ability to quickly learn production operations and equipmentExcellent supervisory and leadership skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to complete reports and logsExperience with SAP or other ERP systems preferredEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Prior supervisory production work experience preferred but other industry supervisory experience considered.Physical Requirements:Must be able to traverse the production and warehouse facilitiesMust be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.This is a temp to perm position with full-time opportunity for the right candidate with full benefitsSchedule: 7am to 4pmPay: $24 to $28/hr.
