This hands-on leader directs and develops the production team, ensures flawless execution of manufacturing processes, and champions continuous improvement. With a focus on best practices and strict regulatory compliance, the supervisor keeps operations running at peak performance while delivering results that meet and exceed expectations.Shift: Monday - Friday – 8 hour shift, 8AM to 4PM (Additional hours as required to meet the objectives of the department)Responsibilities:Supervision and Leadership: 30+ direct reportsProvide guidance and direction to production teamLead and motivate team to meet production goalsConduct performance evaluations and provide feedbackIdentify and address any issues or conflicts within the teamProduction Planning and CoordinationDevelop and implement production schedulesCoordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production flowAnalyze production data and make recommendations for improvementsTroubleshoot and resolve any production related issuesQuality ControlEnsure products meet company quality standardsConduct quality inspections and auditsImplement and maintain quality control proceduresAddress any quality issues or concerns in a timely mannerBudget and Cost ManagementMonitor and control production costsIdentify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvementsPrepare and track production budgetsMake recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.Communication and ReportingCommunicate production updates and issues to upper managementProvide regular reports on production progress and performanceCoordinate with other departments for product launches or changesMaintain open and clear communication with production team members.Team ManagementUnderstand team dynamics and effective management practices.

Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
