Every year, our work helps recover millions of tons of food byproducts and transform them into useful products for livestock producers.We are growing and looking for strong, hands-on leaders who thrive in a fast-paced production environment.What You'll Do: As a Drying Supervisor, you will lead the daily operations of drying and powder processing while overseeing a team of Drying Technicians.

This role is responsible for ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and consistently while maintaining high standards for quality and compliance.This role offers a clear path for growth into broader plant leadership opportunities, including progression to Assistant Plant Manager for high-performing team members.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be actively involved in both supervising the team and supporting operations on the floor.Key responsibilities include:Lead, schedule, and support a team of Drying Technicians to meet daily production goalsOversee operation of drying equipment, including dryers, evaporators, and associated systemsMonitor control panels and PLC systems to maintain optimal processing conditionsCoordinate workflow to ensure all materials from the Processing team are dried efficiently and on scheduleTroubleshoot equipment issues and perform or coordinate basic repairs to minimize downtimeConduct routine inspections and support preventative maintenance activitiesEnsure all operations follow cGMPs, safety standards, and company policiesTrain and develop team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and troubleshootingMaintain accurate production reports, including output, downtime, and quality checksIdentify process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safetyRespond quickly to operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concernsPrepare materials for shipment, including sampling, inventory, and labelingRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:1–3 years of experience in machine operation, drying processes, or industrial equipment environmentsPrevious leadership or supervisory experience requiredForklift certification or ability to obtain certificationBasic mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial control systems (PLC preferred)Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex processesSolid communication, documentation, and organizational skillsStrong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work in a physically demanding environment, including heat, noise, and dustAbility and willingness to use chemicals while wearing required PPEAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularly (with heavier loads assisted)Willingness to work flexible or rotating schedules as neededBenefits: Nutrition 101 offers a competitive benefits package including:Competitive Base Salary DOE + Performance Based BonusesMedical, Dental, VisionTelemedicine for Primary Care, Urgent Care, and Mental Health$25k Group Life & ADD + Voluntary Life for Self or DependentsShort-Term Disability & Long-Term DisabilityCritical Illness & Accident Insurances401k with up to 4% Company MatchCompany Holidays & Paid Time OffEmployee Assistance ProgramCollaborative and Supportive Team EnvironmentReferral BonusEmployee Empowerment Program - We are all owners!Work Environment: This role is performed in a production facility and may involve:Operating and overseeing industrial drying and processing equipmentStanding, walking, and moving throughout extended shifts (10–12 hours)Lifting, pushing, or pulling materials up to 50 poundsWorking in a non-climate-controlled environment with heat, noise, dust, and odorsClimbing stairs or ladders and accessing elevated work areasWearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and other gear as needed
