This role is critical to scaling our manufacturing operations and bridging execution between production, engineering, and quality.You'll be hands-on in the factory, driving output, resolving issues in real time, and setting the standard for performance, professionalism, and culture on the floor.What you'll own:Production Execution & Floor LeadershipMaintain a consistent presence on the shop floor to support technicians, unblock issues, and ensure production is tracking to planLead daily shift standups and participate in production and leadership meetings to align on priorities, risks, and output targetsSet and communicate daily and weekly production goals in partnership with scheduling and production planningEnsure all work is completed on time and to specificationDrive production flow, balancing throughput, quality, and efficiency across your areaPartner cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to resolve issues and minimize production interruptionsTeam Leadership & Performance ManagementLead, coach, and develop a team of technicians with clear expectations around performance, quality, and accountabilityDrive a high-performance, no-excuses culture focused on ownership, urgency, and resultsConduct performance management, including coaching, feedback, and corrective actions in partnership with HROwn onboarding and training of new hires, including 30/60/90-day evaluationsMaintain and actively manage technician skills matrices and development plans to support growth and capability buildingSafety & ComplianceEnforce safe work practices and ensure compliance with all safety policies and proceduresConduct safety training and ensure certifications are up to dateIdentify, address, and prevent unsafe conditions on the shop floorInvestigate incidents and ensure proper documentation and follow-up actionsQuality & Continuous ImprovementPartner with Quality and Engineering to resolve nonconformances and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)Ensure adherence to work instructions and recommend updates to improve clarity and executionDrive workmanship standards and participate in regular quality reporting and reviewsChampion 5S and lean manufacturing principles across the production floorLead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, throughput, and reliabilityOperational Efficiency & OutputMonitor labor utilization, overtime, and productivity;
