Ideal for someone with project management expertise, we offer the opportunity to lead a talented team and ensure operational excellence.Your Title: Production Supervisor, 2nd shiftYour Location: Carol Stream, IllinoisYou will Report to: Production ManagerResponsibilities:Production Management: Provide support to the Manufacturing Manager by overseeing and coordinating production operations within specific plant sections to ensure delivery of intermediate or finished flavor/fragrance products.
Manage the production area's performance to meet schedules, control inventory for material availability, and monitor output for quality and efficiency. Prepare production reports for performance issue identification and resolution.Production Processes: Define manufacturing processes that align with safety, EHS standards, and productivity goals. Improve programs, manage capacity enhancements, and lead Lean program rollouts with active involvement in team boards and meetings.People Management: Oversee staff to ensure safe task performance and equipment operation. Oversee documentation of staff performance, provide ongoing feedback, conduct mid-year and end-year reviews, and make recommendations on hiring, firing, and salary increases. Train new employees on operational procedures and standards.Your Professional Profile Includes:Vocational diploma in Technical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline8+ years of production experience with exposure to quality and materials process management2+ years of progressive experience in people managementExcel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Microsoft experienceKnowledge of project management principlesCompensation and BenefitsThe established salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
