Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor is responsible for leading 1st shift packaging operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment at The Marzetti Company's College Park location. This role provides direct leadership to frontline production associates while driving safety, quality, productivity, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives across the production team. What You'll DoLead daily 2nd shift packaging operations to achieve safety, quality, production, and efficiency targetsSupervise approximately 27–28 production associates across multiple packaging linesOversee packaging formats including bottles, cups, pouches, packets, Cryovac packaging, and other automated packaging systemsMonitor production KPIs including throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, waste, and OEE performanceCoordinate staffing and labor resources to support production schedules and operational demandsEnsure accurate production reporting and shift communicationPromote and enforce a strong culture of safety and food quality throughout the operationEnsure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety requirementsPartner with Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve operational issues and minimize downtimeSupport internal and external audit readiness effortsCoach, mentor, and develop frontline production employees and team leadsBuild accountability and maintain strong employee engagement on the production floorAddress employee relations concerns and performance issues in a timely and professional mannerLead shift communication meetings and support a positive team-oriented cultureProvide hands-on leadership and support during operational challengesDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reductionSupport Lean Manufacturing and TPM initiatives including root cause analysis, 5S, standard work, and process improvement activitiesParticipate in problem solving and corrective action efforts to improve operational performanceUtilize visual management tools and operational dashboards to monitor performance and drive accountabilityQualifications ?
