Supervisor Second ShiftThis is a second shift role that will supervise direct and indirect employees and the production to meet established schedules. The supervisor must maintain safety, quality, productivity, and communication standards, along with controlling costs. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Assign and monitor work to achieve production efficientlyDirect, train, appraise, develop, and discipline hourly employees as requiredAssure production meets quality standards and control scrap and reworkEnforce plant policies and procedures regarding health and safety and the employee handbookAssist in establishing and setting up equipment for production jobs or for improved processesReport and follow through on tooling needs and equipment maintenance problemsAssure compliance with all plant policies and proceduresDrive employee communicationComply with current Quality Systems requirementsUndertake assigned projects as directed by the Department Manager, Operations Manager, or Plant ManagerPerform other duties assigned by managementAttend all meetings and training as scheduledPerform other work as assigned by Management, including 5S and departmental Quality auditsQualifications:Education, Experience, Skills Required:High School Diploma/GED. Associates or College degree is a bonusDemonstrated leadership skills and experience in a Manufacturing settingSitting, standing, walking, bending, and twisting as requiredWill be exposed to extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid)Occasional lifting from grams up to 50 poundsGeneral office equipment, PC with various software (Microsoft office 365)Personal protective equipment as requiredPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to see, hear and speak; able to sit, stand for at least two hours at a time, sit, bend, craw, squat, kneel and climb able to use both arms and hands to use a computer and peripherals and lift 40 pounds from floor level, able to work below ground level in confined spaces and on stationary or mobile elevated platforms, able to wear respirator and other PPE as required, able to climb stairs.

Able to work extended shifts and weekends as needed.Work Environment:Able to work inside or outside the plant environment and in all climate conditions. Exposed to lead, fumes, chemicals, operating equipment, and vehicles.
