Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor is responsible for the management of manufacturing processes at the assigned facility. Provides leadership and direction for team members to accomplish training objectives, meet production schedules in a high quality, safe manner, facilitates problem solving and decision making. Promotes a high level of teamwork both on and between shifts as well as between departments.

Responsible for maintaining records to comply with company procedures and apply policies and rules in a fair manner while fostering a participative, yet structured environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Actively supports and participates in employee teams and problem-solving groups; serves as a facilitator, when needed, to maintain the group's focus and provide the necessary resourcesSet expectations to provide clear, consistent direction related to safety requirements from CCM leadershipParticipates in safety meetings. Partners with EHS Teams to implement required safety initiatives and training. Conducts accident and near miss investigations, confirm incident reports are completed, accurate, and timelySupports the operations manager with contributions towards the plant's cost reduction goals through awareness, spend control, and idea generationFacilitate decision making and problem-solving processes to foster a more participative and committed approach to the operations, addressing quality concerns/customer complaintsWorks to identify where Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) need to be developed.

Ensuring that SOPs are followed and recommended for improvement are vetted and implemented when appropriatePossesses working knowledge of the manufacturing processProvides leadership and direction to production personnel to meet the desired outputActs as backup for operations manager when required, due to vacation, offsite meetings, and absenteeismUniformly enforces and applies company policies and procedures to maintain fair and consistent work practicesProvides input and seeks clarification where necessary to ensure that adequate communication and understanding is occurringProvides honest, objective feedback to team members so they clearly understand company expectations and potential development opportunitiesMaintains shift personnel records as requiredInitiate work assignments to address training needs required to ensure production goals can be met with qualified personnelManages team to minimize defects and reworkPlays a central leadership role in the deployment, sustainment, and training of the Carlisle Operating System (COS) across the site. This includes leveraging Continuous Improvement Leadership behaviors and processes (ex. MDI), COS tools (ex.

SQDC Boardwalks, Kaizen), and daily coaching with the production teamCoaches and encourages crews to identify and implement such opportunitiesOther duties as assigned.Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Familiar with day-to-day manufacturing activities and positions on the production floorWorking knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving toolsAbility to quickly identify safety concerns and address with necessary team membersStrong interpersonal skills with colleagues and direct reportsStrong MS Office and ERP skills, SAP preferredEducation and Experience: Required: Education: HS Diploma or GED EquivalentExperience: 5 years in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership abilitiesPreferred: Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field requiredExperience: Metal fabrication environment preferredWorking Conditions:Manufacturing facility with exposure to varying temperatures and dust.Hours Worked: Sunday – Thursday, 10PM – 6AM.
