Operations SupervisorOperations of all packaging lines under the supervisor of the shift supervisor.Supervises and coordinates activities such as work procedures, employee rotation, work schedules and attendanceEvaluates and recommends employees for hire or terminationCoordinates with management to assure production activities are as efficient as possibleEnforce company safety, break & lunch policiesActively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behaviorTracks and communicates employee performance and provides disciplinary / corrective action as neededTrain and coach other operators and line employees to maintain high efficiency with minimal down timeCoordinates with management to assure production activities are as efficient as possibleEnsure all packaging equipment is in operational conditionEstablish tasks for employees to ensure a clean workplaceDocument down time and lost efficiencyEnsure quality guide lines for products are followedEnforce all FDA and company guidelinesAssist with Continuous ImprovementMaintain LOTO certificationReview and assist with all quality control documentsEnsure Food Safety of ProductionCommunicates with all cross functional shift activities from other shifts to operations team on a daily basisPerform miscellaneous duties as required by managementQualifications and Education RequirementsEducational Background: N/AExperience: Must have experience in giving direction to employees and operating and diagnosing equipmentPreferred SkillsMust be able to communicate with both direct report employees and managementMust have understanding of FDA guide lines and company policies.
