THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT POSITION, HOURS ARE 11:00PM-7:00AM The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising hourly employees and executing production and logistics plans. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overall operations of the assigned shift, including warehouse, labor relations, production, site security, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.Ways You Will Make a DifferenceSupervise the execution of production and logistics plans through operators and other hourly labor in production and warehouse functionsParticipate in the development and implementation of plans and policies to ensure compliance in all areas of responsibilityOperate production lines in accordance with FDA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP/SQF program guidelinesDirect and guide operators and their activities in execution of production and/or logistics plans (receiving, processing, mixing, baking, packaging, shipping, etc)Responsible for shift change management and communication as well as daily production standards and labor reconciliationDevelop employees to ensure compliance and achieve qualityResolve problems and mitigate operational issues that result in negative performanceSupport Lean Training as directed by Operations ManagerOwns regulatory compliance and food safety process, including: proper sanitary condition, allergen control, pest control, food safety policy, employee safety policies and procedures, and maintaining MCRS sustainability standardsParticipate in daily food reviewSupport and execute relevant projects as neededSkills That Will Make You SuccessfulBachelor's Degree in a related field preferredMinimum 2 years' experiencePrevious manufacturing experienceExperience working with SAPUnderstanding of GMP principlesProcess, packing, and mechanical experience strongly preferredExperience managing people, with ability to work with employees at all levels of the organizationStrong verbal and written communication skillsEffective time managementDemonstrated ability to manage complexityProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIndependent, self-sufficient with a strong sense of urgencyWhat We OfferAt Ferrara, we're proud to support our employees with comprehensive benefits that enhance health, financial wellness, and include paid time off (PTO).
