You'll coach employees, solve problems, improve processes, and foster a positive, productive work environment.This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people and driving operational excellence.What You'll DoLead and support production employees throughout the shift.Fill in for Team Leaders as needed.Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, SOPs, and all food safety requirements.Promote and enforce safety policies and proper use of PPE.Monitor sanitation and cleanliness throughout the facility.Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality and yield goals.Support and implement company policies and management decisions.Coach, train, evaluate, and develop employees.Manage staffing levels and overtime.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Perform other duties as assigned.What You'll BringAssociate degree or technical certificate preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or operations environment.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to safety, food quality, and continuous improvement.Must be able to speak, read and write English.
Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.Who You'll Work WithYou'll be part of a collaborative operations team focused on producing safe, high-quality products. You'll report to the Night Superintendent and work closely with Team Leaders and cross-functional departments to keep production running efficiently.Physical RequirementsReasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting (occasionally lifting of up to 50 pounds). Employees must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working in production areas.Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a food manufacturing facility where employees may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving machinery, cleaning chemicals, airborne particles, varying temperatures, and moderate noise levels.
