Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)

We have a vast and ever-evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles.We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to join us at our facility in Houston, TX.The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and consistent execution of daily manufacturing operations within their assigned area.

This role leads front-line employees, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivers performance against production, cost, and delivery targets. The supervisor serves as the primary link between management and hourly employees, driving accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.Reports To: Manufacturing ManagerKey Responsibilities:Lead daily shift operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and schedule attainment.Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and regulatory compliance.Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.Ensure adherence to standard work, operating procedures, and quality requirements.Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and shift coverage to meet production needs.Identify and escalate operational, safety, quality, and equipment concerns.Lead shift handoffs, team meetings, and daily communication activities.Train, coach, and develop employees to improve performance and skills.Support continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving efforts, and process optimization.Maintain accurate production, inventory, and operational records.Qualifications & Competencies:Safety & ComplianceStrong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.Ability to identify risks, resolve unsafe conditions, and promote a safety-first culture.Operations & QualityExperience executing production plans and meeting operational goals.Understanding of quality systems, process controls, and continuous improvement principles.Ability to analyze performance metrics and take corrective action.LeadershipProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop front-line employees.Strong coaching, accountability, and team-building skills.Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across shifts and departments.Problem SolvingAbility to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements.Experience supporting Lean, Kaizen, 6S, or similar operational excellence programs preferred.Success Measures:Safe and compliant operationsAchievement of production and quality targetsConsistent execution of standard workEmployee engagement and accountabilityContinuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost performanceWork Environment:The Production Supervisor is expected to maintain a visible presence on the production floor, actively support employees, champion company values, and drive operational excellence within the assigned area.This is an active opening for which we are recruiting to fill immediately.
