Production SupervisorAt Custom Foods, we employ Great Dough Heroes to create our SQF-certified, industry-leading, frozen dough. We are currently seeking an additional Production Supervisor on our second shift (approximately 3pm - 2am) to accommodate increased business orders. This role will be responsible for motivating team members to meet a production goal by overseeing the physical operation of production, receiving, shipping, and sanitation.

This is a key role in producing safe products for our customers' consumption in an industrial manufacturing environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with distribution of production scheduleAchieve daily output to meet demands of production scheduleMaintain proper inventory levels, avoiding shortageTrain employees on safety measures and keep safety culture prominent during all operationsEnsure product quality standards throughout mixing, weight checks, temperature checks, production, and packagingResponsible for food safety, food quality, and food defenseMonitor productivity of all employeesBe a team player and jump in as necessaryRequirements:Experience leading teams to successful goals, manufacturing or production experience preferredAbility to motivate others to achieve a goalAbility to coach and correct others' performanceAbility to lift up to (40) forty pounds occasionallyStanding, walking, reaching, bendingForklift certification preferredAble to learn/properly use pallet jacks and forkliftsTemperatures below freezing occasionally - proper clothing providedAbility to work second shift (approximately 3pm - 2am) consistently4 nights a week, no SundaysBilingual Spanish and English preferred, not requiredPrevious experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing settingStrong knowledge of materials handling, assembly, and fabrication processesProficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instrumentsFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressureBasic math skills for calculating measurements, quantities, and production metricsAbility to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills and attention to detailNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
