Production Supervisor (1st Shift)Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components.

Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.The Production Supervisor will supervise activities of assigned department(s) with respect to safety, quality, and cost while meeting production schedules, volume, and cleanliness.Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6AM - 4:30PMUnique Benefits Designed with Care:Monday - Thursday work week working 10-hour daysRelocation assistance may be provided401(K) with a 6% company match100% Employer-Paid Employee Only Medical Plan OptionEmployer Health Saving Account ContributionsGenerous PTO and nine paid holidaysWhat You'll Do: Precision in Action:Will act as the senior Safety, Quality and Production representative for their assigned product lines(s).Will ensure that high standards of safety are developed, met and maintained as well as conduct regular safety meetings.Oversee and train all operators on assigned product lines to the safety, quality, and production requirements of each work instruction. Conduct daily audits of employees to ensure compliance.Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results on shift production summaries.Attend and support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.Will conduct employee evaluations and establish accountabilities and goals as required.Will engage and stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of production workers.Will maintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.Will assist maintenance and Engineering team when needed, ensuring that machinery, equipment, fixtures and facilities are properly maintained by responsible personnel for efficient production and safety while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Will assure that assigned product lines and buildings receive proper start up/shutdown protocols in accordance with procedures and guidelines.Will foster "Lean Operating Principles" and 5S on the production floor.
