Production Scheduling & Planning ManagerWe are looking for someone with strong experience with scheduling and planning in a low-volume, higher-variance customer manufacturing environment. This manufacturing environment is a bit more in-depth than assembling materials that can be ordered and stockpiled, as most of the projects that you will be planning are custom. With that being the case, the components of the products being manufactured are mostly custom as well.

This person will manage a team of focused schedulers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting customer deadlines. You work with multiple department leads from manufacturing supervisors to procurement teams, sales teams, and potentially anyone in between a new order and its final destination. If you are interested in an opportunity with a growing company, please reach out to us to learn more.Responsibilities: Production Scheduling & Planning ManagerLead the scheduling and planning efforts for the entire facilities operationsManage and mentor a team of focused schedulersWork with multiple departments across the organization to ensure orders are completed and shipped on time.Determine if orders from the office can be feasible be produced based on material on hand or obtainable in time to meet project deliverables datePlanning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing operationsCollaborate with leadership teams to monitor the status of projects to ensure customers are communicated with, as well as other stakeholders such as those scheduled to install the products when they are delivered on-siteWork outside of normal parameters when necessary by altering schedules to meet unforeseen conditions when necessaryAudit work orders for accuracy of components and parts listed; confirm required materials are availableRequirements: Production Scheduling & Planning ManagerAssociates degree preferred or High School Diploma with additional work experience3+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education & experience)Ability to communicate well with multiple departmentsMicrosoft Excel Abilities as it drives production schedulingExperience in leadership
