Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Signing Bonus of $2,500.00

Objective: Optimize production schedules across the plant to maximize operational efficiency. The individual must possess good inner personal skills; work well in a team setting as well as independently. They must also thrive in a fast pace environment for high precision machined parts and assemblies. Goal is to have 100% quality with 100% on time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

The ability to:

Maintain master schedule to meet shipping dates according to customer demands.
· Expedite manufacturing operations.
· Reschedule operations that delays or alters schedules.
· Prepares reports.
· Plans and schedules for work flows for each department.
· Experience with WIP and Capacity Reports
· Experience with lead time generation
· General understanding of overall machine shop work flow
Qualifications
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in production planning preferred.
Basic machining background.
General computer skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Excel experience desired.
Use software to generate reports and schedules.
· Understanding of AS9100 and requirements for a machine shop environment
Compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, qualifications, and business considerations.

Job Responsibilities:

Utilize MES/ERP system to schedule jobs to meet customer requirements
Create daily, weekly, and long-term production plans
Coordinate labor and CNC machine capacity for 2 shifts
Address production issues that impact production schedule with manufacturing and quality
Manage internal delivery of parts to expedite flow of jobs to meet production schedule
Communicate schedule changes with Sales that may impact customer deliveries
Maintain, update and complete production reports as required
Lead weekly production status meeting with management and team coordinators
Qualifications and Experience:

Technical Skills: Familiarity with production scheduling software (Epicor ERP software a plus) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Machining background a plus
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; at least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing/production planning
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Member of the Team: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
