Employees will largely be expected to learn by doing. They will execute, monitor and QC existing ETL, Reporting and Campaign processes thereby contributing to the team while developing an understanding of DataLab's solution and how it serves to achieve client goals.No sponsorship offered for this positionCandidates must be local to Germantown, MDKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor existing process execution to ensure completionExecute & review existing process QC reportsReview wiki and other documentation to understand existing processes purpose and stepsUpdate Wiki documentation to improve team documentationReview ETL QC reports and identify any data quality issuesRun existing scripts to update DWHPerform QC to ensure proper execution and completeness of DWHRun existing scripts to generate client reportsQC & review report providing feedback to internal customers & stakeholdersAssist with minor modifications & enhancements to reportsSave all work with careful documentation (for QC and future use)Run existing ETL data feeds and monitor for issuesTroubleshoot automated production tasks issuesAutomate existing production codeAssist with development of ad-hoc reportsKnow all client file inputs for a campaign, understand which would be critical for campaign processing and how the fields within each file are used in the campaign and results reportingSetup new ETL scripts & QC for new client data feedsKnow when client files are expected; notify team members if they do not come inResponsible for the movement of files and assets from FTP sites and/or emails to appropriate folders and notify appropriate team membersBe able to use FTP, MoveIT, JIRA and navigate through WikiRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer ScienceWork experience a plusDirect Marketing experience or knowledge a plusCertifications/Technical training are a plusJob SkillsKnowledge in SQLMicrosoft Outlook, Word and ExcelOther SkillsStrong attention to detailAbility to communicate clearlySelf-motivatedStrong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment$65,000 - $75,000 a year The base pay range provided serves as a general guideline.
