About Power Test

Power Test, LLC is an industry leader in the design, manufacture, and support of heavy-duty dynamometers and data acquisition systems. We provide exceptional service to a diverse global customer base and look for motivated individuals ready to grow with us.

The Role

The Production Planner optimizes production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource use, and alignment with customer demand. You will bridge the gap between sales, procurement, and operations—translating demand signals into executable floor plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling: Develop master production schedules (MPS), prioritize runs to minimize changeover time, and adjust plans in real time for downtime or material shortages.
  • Materials & Inventory: Partner with procurement to ensure raw material availability, monitor MRP outputs, and manage inventory levels.
  • Collaboration: Participate in weekly S&OP meetings and communicate schedule updates or constraints to leadership and customer service.
  • Metrics: Track schedule adherence, on-time delivery (OTD), and support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of production planning or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Systems: Required experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, SYSPRO, or similar) and high proficiency in Excel.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, sharp attention to detail, and top-tier cross-functional communication skills.
  • Bonus: APICS CPIM certification is a strong asset.

Core Competencies

We are looking for a reliable, achievement-focused teammate who brings strong job judgment, an ethical approach to business, and a focus on quality and safety.
