Base pay range
$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management or equivalent is an advantage but not required
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in production planning
- Clean room experience is a plus
- Semiconductor industry experience preferred. Other industries such as medical device/biotech, or retail transferrable
- Proficiency in SAP system required
- Basic understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) will be advantageous
- Some exposure to supplier management will be advantageous
- Experience in low-volume high-mix Manufacturing environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
- Collaborate from cross‑functional team of engineers, buyers, other planners, material handlers, manufacturing managers as well as escalates issues to appropriate contacts
- Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., just in time purchases).
- Ensures material standards are met and non‑conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized.
- Monitors cost and schedule of production orders against build plan.
