The Production Planner Analyst supports manufacturing operations by developing and executing production plans aligned with available capacity and material demand. This role partners closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to coordinate daily assembly activities and meet customer delivery expectations. The Production Planner Analyst works with production cell leads to monitor schedules, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance on-time delivery and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:Production PlanningDevelop daily assembly schedules based on resource availability and material requirementsPrioritize work orders to ensure timely completion of assembliesCollaborate with production cell leads to establish schedules and monitor performanceMaintain and update daily scheduling boardsLead daily production meetings to review performance, identify issues, and support problem-solving activitiesCommunicate production plan updates across Production, Materials, and Sales teamsWork Order ManagementMonitor work order status to support timely and accurate completionInvestigate and resolve work order discrepancies as neededKPI Tracking & ReportingTrack and report on key performance metrics, including on-time delivery and cell utilizationPrepare routine production reports and dashboardsMaintain accurate data to support operational reviews and decision-makingDocumentation & Continuous ImprovementDocument processes and procedures to support standardized workMaintain accuracy of planning data, including bill of materials (BOM) labor hoursSupport continuous improvement initiatives within production planning and operationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic data analysisStrong organizational and process-oriented mindsetAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience with ERP/MRP systems is a plusDemonstrated ability to document procedures and support continuous improvement effortsDemonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.

The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentFamiliarity with KPI reporting, data analysis, or continuous improvement methodologies
