Production OperatorThe Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. This position does not require prior machine operating experience as training will be provided.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.Monitor machines during operation to ensure they produce products that meet quality standards.Conduct regular in-process inspections to ensure quality control standards are met.Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments to resolve any production issues.Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data.Maintain a standard level of productivity and quality output, committed to continuous improvement.Follow safety protocols and adhere to the proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment.Comply with cross-training and other training requirements.Essential SkillsAbility to speak and read English effectively.Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements.Understanding of safety rules, MSDS, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management capabilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanically inclined with machine operation experience preferred.Ability to use a computer to enter activities in ERP system (simple use).Ability to stand for an 8–10-hour shift.Able to lift 25 lbs.Prior experience preferred, but not required.Why Work Here?Once you become a direct employee, you will receive comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and life insurance, long-term disability, paid time off, 10 company holidays, and a 401(k) plan.Work EnvironmentWork on the 1st shift from 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for 1-2 hours of overtime per day and occasional Saturdays. The facility is very clean and modern, focusing on the production of a new generation of power transmission lines that are lighter, stronger, and environmentally friendly.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westminster, CA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
