Production OperatorVolt has immediate production opportunities at Coherent (formerly II-VI) in Sherman, TX.Become part of a team to produce small semiconductor devices that emit light vertically and enable 3D sensing used in smart phone cameras to allow features such as Face ID, Animoji and Portrait mode selfies.As a Production Operator you will:Perform various production operations associated with the processing of VCSEL wafers and product test assembliesBe an active member of the team and meet the requirements to ensure the effective and efficient transfer of wafers into large volume manufacturingMeet/Exceed production standards; hitting goals and working safely at every point in the manufacturing processProduction Operator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:Experience in a production or manufacturing clean room environmentStrong interpersonal and teaming skillsAbility to read, comprehend and follow process specifications and safety rulesHave strong attention to detail and understand the importance of product qualityAbility to perform repetitive tasks with good manual dexterityBasic computer operation skillsCandidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirementsPay for this position is $17.50 per hour.Training Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8-5 then will move to shift.A shift – Sunday Monday Tuesday every other Wednesday 7a-7pB shift - Sunday Monday Tuesday every other Saturday 7p-7aC shift – every other Wednesday, Thursday Friday Saturday 7a-7pD Shift – Wednesday Thursday Friday every other Saturday 7p-7a*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
