Your duties will include handling and storing goods and raw materials, setting up production equipment such as robots and inspection tools, and ensuring that all manufacturing processes comply with established safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure paint preparation and coating application on rail vehicles meet customer expectationsPerform coating repairs and apply decals/stencilingMaintain paint process records (e.g., batch numbers, conditions)Ensure paint thickness is up to the contract requirementsTrain junior painters to the job requirements and ensure environmental/safety complianceFollow safety protocols and report any painting issuesInspect and maintain the painting equipmentPerform all assembly tasks and other manufacturing requirements as instructedAssembly ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain production areas and equipmentPerform manufacturing tasks as scheduled by the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systemPerform operations within alignment of the work instructionsConduct quality checks throughout the production processIdentify partsPromptly report any deviations or quality concerns to the Team LeadPacking finished vehicles and/or parts for shipmentCompleting tally sheets when requiredAdhering to 5S, ESD and EHS regulationsPerform self-inspectionsMaintain special process qualifications as requiredAll classifications are subject to skills and ability evaluation within the ILUO process.Required: Must pass respiratory testing and paint quality tests (e.g., gloss level, adhesion), RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) Special Process Torque Certification Experience: Two years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, A strong commitment to quality, effective teamwork, and clear communication are essential, Proficiency in the local language is also important for daily operations and collaboration, Vocational course in Auto Body Repair or equivalent experience.All classifications may be instructed to support various production activities beyond your key responsibilities when necessary.
