Winder OperatorWe are seeking motivated Winder Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating winding and packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Shift: C Shift: Thursday – Saturday, alternating Wednesdays, 5:40 AM – 6:00 PM (Qty: 1)A Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, alternating Wednesday, 5:40 AM – 6:00 PM (Qty: 1)Key ResponsibilitiesOperate winders, packaging machines, and banding equipment.Monitor production lines and perform quality checks.Print and apply pallet labels accurately.Track scrap and production data.Assist with product changeovers and web break repairs.Maintain housekeeping and workplace organization.Communicate quality and equipment concerns promptly.Follow all safety procedures and standard operating practices.Support team training and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.Manufacturing or process-related experience preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Basic math and computer skills.Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SAP, or similar systems is a plus.Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Physical RequirementsMust be at least 18 years old.Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a manufacturing environment.Lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.Ability to distinguish colors and shading.Ability to wear required PPE and work in varying temperatures and noise levels.Must be able to become forklift certified if required.
