Job Description
The main responsibility of a Production Operator is to process customer materials through our spray drying operation and prepare finished materials for shipment back to the customer.
Specific Primary Duties:
* Operate forklift to store outgoing customer material
* Assist with preparing customer material for entry into the spray dryers
* Assist with blending and cooling customer material
* Assist with packaging and storing customer finished material
* Assist with packaging and storing scrap material
* Populate Container Data Sheets in an accurate and complete manner
* Assist with cleaning spray dryers and related equipment
Skills/Qualifications:
* Experience in the spray drying industry preferred but not required
* Experience working at an industrial site required
* Ability to understand and follow instructions from superiors
* Team player
* Pro-active self-starter requiring minimal supervision
