Production OperatorThe Production Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently handling liquid and dry chemical products, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance throughout all warehouse and transfer operations. This hands-on role involves mixing and blending chemicals, loading and unloading trucks, tankers, and railcars; operating forklifts and other industrial equipment; repackaging and labeling materials; and maintaining precise inventory records. No two days are the same; you will work with a variety of products, equipment, and processes in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail truly matters.

Empower.GeneralMixing/blending/manufacturingReceive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcarsOperation of powered and manual industrial lift trucks (with certification) to transport product in the warehouseRepackage product into proper containers for storage or shipmentResponsibility for inventoryGeneral maintenanceEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma, general education degree (GED), or US military experiencePossess or able to pass exam to obtain Forklift Operators certification and demonstrate ability to operate a forklift safelyAbility to read, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions in English and write simple correspondenceAbility to learn and operate technology-based devices to carry out normal business operationsOther Job RequirementsParticipate in ongoing safety program including safety meetings and trainingsMust be available to work any days of the week, any assigned 8-12 hour shiftWillingness to work overtime or weekends as neededGood safety and attendance recordAbility to work cooperatively with other departments and personnelObserve, follow and enforce all company policies and proceduresMust pass pre-employment drug screen and background checkMust pass E-verify checkMust be capable of attaining a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card for participating MTSA facilities within Brenntag.
