Be part of a team leading innovation of insulated metal panel technology while building a more sustainable world.Position Summary: CoilsOperate machinery to supply the Foaming station with correct and properly roll formed metal to maintain continuous quality production of insulated metal panels.Essential FunctionsUnderstand and demonstrate: Panel and profile identificationVerification of scheduled production run against the BOMEnsure Quality and Product Compliance Requirements are met.QC standards of the Foaming stationQC Log entryStartup and shut down proceduresManual/remote control vs. automatic operationsCare and cleaning of equipmentChange over procedures, tooling and guide setupEquipment adjustments to correct product defectsParameter entry and screen navigationContainment and double belt setupMix head calibration and rebuildingPour bar cleaning and assembly proceduresSide tape selection and applicationBond enhancer setup and operationCoil splicing procedureProper chemical handlingChemical room pump operations and offloading proceduresUse of tape measureMath using US standard and metric systemInventory procedures.Position SummaryProduction Operators efficiently and safely operate production line equipment to produce insulated metal panels, including:Perform the start-up and shut-down procedures for the assigned production line areaPerform duties and procedures as an operator in the assigned production line area effectively, safely, efficiently, and as instructedComplete reports and answer inquiries as requested or assignedMaintain cleanliness of the assigned production line areaMultitask with changing priorities and deadlines as directed by SupervisorEffectively use industrial equipment and machinery, hand, pneumatic, and/or electric tools, and other industrial toolingPerform changeovers quickly, efficiently, and safelyAssist with scrap breakdown as directedComply with all company policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assigned or directed by the SupervisorMinimum Qualifications:Minimum education level: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)Must have two years prior machine or production operator experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, or similar.Must have strong mathematic skills, the ability to accurately use a tape measure, and be proficient in the metric measurement system.Must have a high level of attention to detail.Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, and weekends as necessary.Ability to sit, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to walk, climb, bend, lift, grasp, pinch, reach, twist, lean, lift, push, pull, and other physical movements necessary to perform duties assigned.Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with extreme temperatures, noise, dust and other conditions typical of a manufacturing plant environment.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to verbally communicate effectively in English.
