Job Title: Production Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Operator to join our offline department, which plays a crucial role in supporting production lines by preparing and managing materials before and after production. This hands-on role requires building steel reels using various tools, manually cutting scrap, and engaging in a busy and active work environment.
Responsibilities
* Support production lines by prepping and making reels.
* Feed lines with necessary materials and manage scrap disposal or recycling.
* Build steel reels using bolts, hand, and power tools.
* Operate in the grinding area to load scrap reels onto grinders and manually cut scraps.
* Regrind chunks and process materials using the extruder machine.
* Set up machines, change screens, filters, and adjust temperatures.
Essential Skills
* Minimum of 1 year experience in industrial manufacturing.
* Ability to use measuring tape, extrusion machines, grinders, impact guns, and saws.
* Cross-trainable with a experience in machine operation.
* Physically active and capable of being on feet all day.
* Mechanically inclined with skills in manufacturing and general production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in construction or automotive industries is beneficial.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools.
* Experience in pallet jack operation, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, non-climate controlled manufacturing facility with a team-oriented atmosphere. The position follows a 2-2-3 schedule with shifts from 6:45am-7pm or 6:45pm-7am, providing variety in your workweek with alternating 48 and 36-hour weeks. Job Type & Location

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
OFF MON/TUE, WORK WED/THUR, OFF FRI/SAT/SUN, REPEAT Only Work 15 days a month!!! Every Other Weekend is a 3-DAY WEEKEND!!! Paid Bi-Weekly Total of 85.75 hours for a pay period (76.75 regular hours & 9 hours of overtime) Shift Differential of $1.00 for night shift. SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00 Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance benefits starting on DAY ONE!
