Production MechanicLocation: Sarasota, FL 34243 Duration: Temp to hire Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMThe Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing repairs on plant equipment and preventive maintenance items on the facility equipment. The Maintenance Mechanic will possess a general knowledge of various trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with repairs and tasks assigned. This job function directly or indirectly affects product quality.
Machine operation experience in a production environment preferred Dependability and ability to adapt to change are essential Ability to read, write and communicate in English Basic computer skills for data entry and simple manipulation Education: High school or high school equivalency diploma. Physical Requirements: Standing for long hours Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Additional: Parking is at the client site – no public transportation
