Production Material Handler$23.50/hourMonday- Thursday 5:30AM-4PM12 monthsJob OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Production Material Handler to support manufacturing operations for our medical device client. Working under direct supervision, you will maintain the smooth, accurate, and compliant flow of raw materials, components, and finished medical products throughout the manufacturing facility. In this role, you will apply your foundational material handling experience to follow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), ensuring material traceability, keeping cleanroom production lines fully supplied, and logging accurate inventory movements.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished medical devices safely between staging areas, storage, and cleanroom production floors.Record accurate movement data for incoming and outgoing components, inventory supplies, and finished goods to maintain strict lot traceability.Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, material carts, hand trucks) in accordance with safety guidelines.Supply cleanroom assembly lines with designated parts and packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing workflows.Strictly adhere to quality management standards, cGMP guidelines, and facility safety regulations.Identify basic material discrepancies and select pre-established solutions to maintain steady production flow.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent required.Experience: 6+ months to 2 years of experience in material handling, logistics, inventory control, or warehouse operations (experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or a regulated manufacturing setting is a plus).Compliance & Precision: Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to follow written technical work instructions, SOPs, and safety protocols explicitly.Equipment & Tech Skills: Hands-on experience operating manual or motorized material handling equipment and logging inventory data into basic warehouse/ERP systems.Physical Capabilities: Comfortable performing routine, physical material handling tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting inventory packages throughout a full shift.
