Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.As a Production Manager your roles and responsibilities will include:Supervise manufacturing resources to meet production goals and assist in preparation of budgets and standards for cost measurementPlan and schedule work to utilize equipment and maintain maximum productivity levelsUtilize operating indicators for control of product cost, material usage, machine downtime, expenditure control and other shift functionsActively support improvement of safety performance by reducing OSHA incident rate and lost time accidents to 0Develop and administer material and labor usage controls and metricsEnsure production activities are in compliance with company policies procedures and that manufactured goods meet finished product specificationsMaintain strict compliance with all financial, legal, regulatory and environmental requirements within the OperationManage product manufacturing, finished product quality and raw material management for the OperationMost importantly, you need to be a passionate Production Manager who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Production Manager would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:Bachelor's degree in management, engineering or relevant field with a minimum of 5 years operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong supervisory and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to lead change and implement continuous improvementProven ability to work partner with Plant Leadership teamProven ability to diagnose solve process issuesStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge and understanding of SAP or ERP systemsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbility to work independently and in a team environmentManages a staff of 3 salary and approximately 80 hourly employees, sets direction and deploys resources.

Responsible for performance evaluations, pay reviews, hiring, and terminating.Minimal travel required 0 – 10 days per yearWe understand that even if you are a seasoned Production Manager you may not have all the skills listed here.Compensation: Based on Experience.
