As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the activities of production employees in order to prepare and deliver food to the serving areas within the senior living community, in an efficient, timely and proper manner.Key Responsibilities:Possesses knowledge and understanding of meal requirementsEnsures proper portioning of foodsOrders and receives food and nonfood itemsVerifies all items in their proper quantity are prepared for tray lineMonitors staff completion of daily recordsVerifies and submits payrollManages, trains, and develops staffCompletes weekly inventoryMonitors and investigates any overages or shortagesWrites daily and weekly production schedule using the master cycle menuEnsures all tasks on daily production schedule are completed by staffAssures standardized recipes are followedParticipates in food quality meetingsVerifies food safety records are completedMonitors labeling of all items with proper informationPractices and enforces all federal, state, and local regulationsPreferred Qualifications:B.S. Degree in Food Services or related field; or A.A.
