Production ManagerUPC designs and manufactures retail store fixtures, and P.O.P. displays. Located in Madison WI, we operate in a 120,000 square ft, clean facility.

Family owned for over 48 years and growing, we are employee centric with great employee retention.Position SummaryPlan, organize, manage, and schedule daily productionEnsure timely and schedule completion of productsMonitor production processes and adjust schedules as neededCollaborates with Design and Engineering department to ensure final product execution meets all specification including materials, processes, time studies, and QCCollaborates with all other internal departments including customer service, purchasing, warehousing, and shipping and receivingEnsure quality standards are met and maintainedTroubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actionsOptimize production efficiency and reduce wasteCollaborate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and quality controlAnalyze production data and prepare reports for senior managementManage and lead production staff, including hiring, training, and disciplinary action.Facilitate daily and weekly production meetingsResponsible for safety, OSHA, labor, compliance and other regulatory requirementsImplements "Best Practices" for manufacturingContinuous improvement of employee morale, engagement, and recognitionEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsResponsible for performance reviews.Practices continuous improvement on SOP, QC, and costing benefitsCommunicate and meet with customers, vendors, contractors and other partnersFacility Equipment & Work EnvironmentClean manufacturing/office environmentLight manufacturingWarehouseVaried manufacturing processesWide range of manufacturing materialsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, business, or a related field (preferred)Proven experience in production or operations managementStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standardsProficiency in production management software and toolsStrong communication and organizational skillsERP familiarityBroad knowledge of manufacturing processes and materialsBenefits401(k)Paid Time Off (PTO)Health insurance benefitsPaid holidaysAnd more
