Production ManagerFall River, Massachusetts, United StatesThe OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join a growing aerospace manufacturing business that designs and manufactures specialist electrical connectors, cable assemblies, and power solutions used across commercial and military aviation.This is a newly created position designed to support continued business growth and increased production demand. You will work closely with the Operations Manager and play a critical role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are consistently achieved.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, leading teams, solving problems, and driving performance.The RoleThe Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations and ensuring production activities run efficiently across the facility.The manufacturing process includes:Cable AssemblyMoldingFinal Assembly and FinishingQuality ControlYou will work closely with team leaders, planners, and operational leadership to ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining high levels of quality and safety.Key responsibilities include:Leading daily production activities across the manufacturing operationManaging and supporting production teams and team leadersDriving productivity, efficiency, and workflow improvementsCoordinating production schedules and prioritiesMonitoring work-in-progress (WIP) and resolving bottlenecksSupporting production planning and resource allocationEnsuring quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing processFacilitating daily production meetings and reporting activitiesPromoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvementActing as the key operational link between shop-floor activities and senior leadershipAbout YouWe are looking for a proactive and hands-on manufacturing professional who can lead from the front and drive operational performance.You will ideally have:5+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experienceExperience leading production teams within a technical manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and workflow managementExperience managing WIP and production performance metricsExcellent people management and communication skillsA problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvementExperience within aerospace, defence, electrical manufacturing, cable assemblies, connectors, plastics molding, or precision manufacturing environments would be highly desirable.What's on Offer?Salary of $85,000 - $100,000Newly created leadership positionOpportunity to shape and improve production operationsJoin a business experiencing significant growth and investmentLong-term career progression opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive leadership teamIf you're a production leader who enjoys driving performance, improving processes, and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
