Production ManagerThe Production Manager is responsible for leading and managing a defined value stream to achieve world-class performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, Engagement, and RBS (Lean/Continuous Improvement). This role ensures operational excellence through disciplined execution, team development, and continuous improvement while delivering on customer commitments and business objectives. This position is onsite in Elizabethtown, NC.Responsibilities:SafetyChampion a zero-incident culture through visible leadership and accountabilityLead proactive risk identification, hazard mitigation, and incident investigationsEnsure compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA (US), EPA (US), and other relevant environmental regulations.Drive employee engagement in safety initiatives and continuous improvementQualityEnsure products meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirementsImprove first-pass yield and reduce scrap/reworkFoster a culture of "quality at the source" and operator ownershipDeliveryMeet or exceed customer delivery commitments (OTD – On-Time Delivery)Manage production schedules and flow to optimize throughputIdentify and eliminate bottlenecks within the value streamCollaborate with supply chain and planning to ensure material availabilityCostOwn financial performance of the value stream, including labor productivity and cost controlDrive cost reduction initiatives through waste elimination and process improvementsManage budget adherence and support forecasting activitiesEngagementLead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teamsBuild a high-performance, accountable, and engaged workforceSupport talent development, succession planning, and skills progressionDrive employee engagement through communication, recognition, and involvementRBS (Ralliant Business System)Drive implementation and sustainment of RBS/Lean principles and tools (e.g., daily management, standard work, Kaizen, visual management)Lead daily Gemba walks and performance reviewsIdentify and execute continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business goalsPromote problem-solving using structured methodologies (e.g., A3, 5 Whys, PSP)Core competencies:Leadership and team developmentData-driven decision makingProblem-solving and root cause analysisChange managementStrong communication and cross-functional collaborationAccountability and ownership of resultsBusiness Case Justification & DevelopmentQualifications:Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Business or related field highly desired5-8 years' experience managing manufacturing teamsExperience in a metric driven organization focusing on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and inventoryProven ability and aspiration to grow into broader leadership roles with increased scope and responsibilityRalliant, originally part of Fortive, now stands as a bold, independent public company driving innovation at the forefront of precision technology.
