Facility/Production ManagerThe Facility/Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production and install of poly loose equipment of new fire trucks. Will direct the operations of all production areas to ensure that volume, cost, and quality standards are achieved and manage warehouse and all orders.Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnforce all company policies as defined in the SMEG Company HandbookOverall supervision, direction, and staffing of production teamOversee and manage the poly production process and ensure efficient and productive operationsSchedule Holmatro service and delegate service calls to techniciansOversee warehouse and order management of partsEnsure production meets quality standards and customer requirementsDirect customer interaction and employee developmentEvaluate performance of production personnelMaintain clean and safe facility including officesMaintain neat and professional personal appearance at all timesUnderstanding of business financials and goals (Share with service staff daily, weekly and monthly)Customer retention and new business development (Routine visits to customer locations)Initiate and participate in morning meetings with production staff to plan the dayInteract with sales staff to offer service support during presentations and trade showsFollow up during and after service is delivered to ensure customers are well informed and satisfiedReview all final invoices for correctness before billing customerMaintain accurate and legible company designed reports and paperworkNotice and report potential problem areas to management before they ariseMaintain a successful working relationship with Pierce Manufacturing personnelEnforce policies and procedures as defined in the Pierce Manufacturing operations manualSupervisory ResponsibilitiesManage assigned team and serve as lead in direction and profitability as assigned.QualificationsThe Facility/Production Manager must be able to clearly demonstrate their ability to set and reach performance goalsExperience within Fire and Emergency related industryProven track record of successExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExceptional organizational methodsPossess exceptional leadership and motivational skillsDedication to customer service and business successAbility to engage in and maintain positive relationships with employees and customersComputer skills: Must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook Email, Microsoft Word & Excel programs as well with any company provided softwareMust demonstrate the ability to review performance goals with all employees designated within his/her service facility and instruct on areas in need of improvement.Prior leadership and management experience required.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDClean driving record with or able to obtain a Class B non-exempt CDL driver license or obtain within six (6) months of hire/transfer5+ years' experience in poly production managementPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk stairs and/or climb ladders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
