Production ManagerLivingston & Haven is seeking an experienced Production Manager to provide hands-on leadership across multiple assembly shops. This is a critical operational role responsible for driving throughput, coordinating production schedules, leading the project management team and working with shop supervisors to efficiently assemble and ship systems. The right candidate brings deep familiarity with industrial or heavy equipment manufacturing environments and knows how to translate business priorities into shop-floor execution.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations across multiple assembly shops, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery commitments are metDrive continuous improvement in workflow, floor layout, and assembly processes to maximize efficiency and minimize downtimeMonitor production KPIs and report regularly to senior leadership on output, capacity utilization, and operational risksScheduling & Capacity PlanningDevelop and manage master production schedules aligned with sales forecasts and customer order requirementsAnticipate capacity constraints and proactively evaluate staffing, sequencing, and resource allocation to meet demandCoordinate closely with procurement, engineering, and sales to align material availability with production timelinesPeople LeadershipDirectly lead project management team providing coaching, performance feedback, and development supportPartner with HR on hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning for production staffFoster a culture of accountability, safety, and craftsmanship on the shop floorQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
