Join us and help run what runs the world.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team.
Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line.The work model for the role is: onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility. You will be mainly accountable for:Responding to emergencies/breakdowns.Responsible for light maintenance associated with the product line.Responsible for changing, cleaning, setting up all molds.Reporting all recurring problems with machinery and equipment.Outlining problems with parts that can be identified and addressed for record-keeping pretraining to production parts.Setting calibration and adjusting equipment, machinery, and instruments to comply with production specifications and instructions.Assist maintenance team with breakdowns.Responsible for working with production lead to insure all setups are in place to minimize change over downtime.Qualifications for the RoleThe qualifications for the role include:5+ years working as a production line technician.High school diploma or equivalent required.Legal authorization to work in the US is required.Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.Working ConditionsManufacturing plant environment requires a combination of hands-on and technical tasks.
Work may involve occasional lifting of materials, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees may be required to bend, twist, or stand for extended periods.Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Employees will also handle a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to machinery, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes, is required to ensure a safe working environment.
