Ensures the maintenance of a safe work environment with an ultimate goal of zero accidents.Job Core ResponsibilitiesPerforms straightforward set up, operation and routine maintenance of production machinery and test equipmentUses a range of documents to perform work, such as job travellers, blueprints, schematics, models or specificationsTroubleshoots machines that are not at peak performance and finds solutions to problemsEnsures adequate stock of raw materials needed for work and performs equipment maintenance per schedulesEvaluates and verifies that production items are within tolerances and meet specifications as outlined in job documentationOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is preferred.
